Transparent methodology

A prediction should show
how uncertain it is.

RankMint uses historical data to support decisions, not to manufacture guaranteed admission percentages.

Inputs used

  • Student AIR
  • Course, category, seat type and round
  • College, district and fee filters
  • Historical opening and closing ranks
  • Available dataset coverage

Possibility labels

Priority Option indicates a historically comfortable comparison. Good Chance indicates a favourable but non-guaranteed comparison. Borderline highlights proximity and volatility. Backup Needed warns that safer choices are necessary. Compare Only is for research without a strong probability claim.

Limitations

Predictions cannot know the final seat matrix, competition, option choices, eligibility verification, category conversion, court orders or administrative changes in advance. The dashboard must therefore be treated as educational reference.
